the next generation of potters . . .

One of the things that Cash and Carter wanted to do when moving back to Chandler was to throw pots like the rest of the cousins have done several times. So, we started out with having pizza and then went to the ceramics room at CGCC. When Chandler, Cooper and Tatum found out they were going to make pots they wanted to join in. Five kids are much more fun than two when slinging that mud around, that is for sure!


Someone asked Cash if he was having fun and his reply was, "no - it isn't as much fun as I thought it would be." I think they have all figured out that it takes a great deal of practice and patience to really get good. Alvin is to be commended for his willingness and his pataience to let these five kids get some experience with pottery.

Summer Rental

I had to wait until January to even try to get this rental for our summer vacation enjoyment. I am happy to say I got it and signed the contract and sent in the deposit.

We stayed at our last place for three years and I decided there were a few things we didn't like so we went on the hunt for a new place. You don't know how intense this is for me to find a new place. This home has four large bedrooms with each having its own bathroom. Mighty fine! And, might I add that we are staying three weeks this time. Can't wait!
